I’m Ian, a Filipino-American photographer, born and raised in sunny SoCal. With my background in documentary filmmaking, I have always been a visual learner whether its motion picture or stills.

When someone says, “Put that camera down and live in the moment,” I say that capturing images is the closest we come to actually being in the present. We take in surroundings deeper, we focus on the little details like how the sun hits through a window in the early morning or someone walking past at the exact right point, and we compose a photo that connects us to our environment and those within it.

No matter where you may find me, I will have camera in hand and this mindset as my compass to create captivating photos that resonate with me and others alike.
